Number 2 Highway
Number 2 Highway (olga-Havazhelt) – Netivei Israel – The National Transport Infrastructure Company Ltd is in the process of Upgrading the entire number 2 Highway, one of the busiest Highways in the state of israel.
As part of the overall project, Ramet is constructing the Olga-Habazhelt section.
This is a Design-Build project whose purpose is adding a Third lane to the Highway which will make it a Two way Three lane highway. In addition, part of the project is increasing the existing infrastructure of the bridge and modernizing it in order to enable higher driving speed along the highway.
The Project also includes design and construction of several new interchanges, several new bridges and underpass`s and all other relevant works, among them: earthworks, drainage works; construction of supporting and acoustical walls: upgrading of service roads along the number 2 highway: upgrading existing section of the number 2 highway, gardening, irrigation and landscaping along the highway, installation of lighting for the highway and interchanges.
